 Welcome To ClaySpace

ClaySpace NFP

A non-profit clay arts studio located in Chicago's western suburbs offering
ceramics classes and host workshops by nationally and internationally recognized visiting artists. Additionally, we provide continuing education and a home for a growing clay artist community. Overlooking the DuPage River, ClaySpace is fully equipped with hand building equipments and potter's wheels, gas and electric kilns, and glazing stations with spray booth.

Resident Artist Memberships

Our Resident Artists members receive full access to the studio and equipment and are also responsible for active participation in running of the business.

Classes

Each classes are taught by experiences educators for all levels of ceramics knowledge. Customized classes can be designed to host events such as team building, anniversary events, and kid friendly events such as birthday parties and scout events. Contact us to tailor your event at ClaySpace.

Clay People Ceramics Club

Clay People is a community outreach organization that provide social events, artist workshops, charity fundraisers and ceramics sales opportunities. We also offer workshop participant grants to high school artists/students and mantain an ongoing commitment to Empy Bowls—fundraiser efforts to raise money for area food banks. Clay People members receive member discounts to workshops and classes at ClaySpace. Click on News for Workshop info.

Clay People annual membership donation $40.

Community Sharing

ClaySpace donates time and talents to support young artists by providing workshop scholarships, internships and gallery exhibit opportunities. These programs are supported by Clay People and The Illinois Arts Coucil.
