Fondness of being close to nature and studying the movement of flowers and leaves inspires my work.  Each piece begins by being made by hand in porcelain on the potters wheel or slab built, and are then gently altered to achieve the final form.  Formulating table-top trend glaze colors and crystalline glazes has captivated my interest.  I spend countless hours creating and testing new colors and finishes.  Each piece is glazed in my own glaze formulation and fired to 2230 degrees. The result is distinctive tableware and decorative pieces which capture the sleekness and flow of botanical forms.
