Do you have a vision of what you want to do in clay, but don’t know how to do it? Do you have experience on the wheel but want to handbuild? Or do you want to make a teapot from wheel thrown parts and don’t know how? Do you want the freedom to work on your ideas without interruption from a class project? Instruction will be tailored to the needs of each class participant. Skill level: All levels

Materials Fee: $30 includes 1 bag of clay, glazing/firing and open lab hours.

Glass Fusing

Fuse glass designs using a kiln. Learn several methods using glass frits and molds to create jewelry, plates, bowls and more. All cutting supplies included; students are to supply safety glasses. Skill level: All levels

ClaySpace will arrange custom classes for a minimum of six people. Private, semi-private lessons, group events for children and adults as well as team-building sessions are available. Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are welcome. Call or email for information.

Kid's Classes

Discover the fun of working with clay. Coil and roll clay into castles and fantasy creatures. Enjoy painting your creations with colorful stains and glazes. Experience the potter’s wheel. Five week sessions are available and all materials are included. Ages 10 & up.
