About Linda Kiepke

Linda Lee Kiepke fell in love with the potter's wheel in 8th grade. As the middle child of seven, working on the wheel was something she could embrace as her own.   Attending Arizona State University to receive her BFA in Art Education, Linda studied drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking; expanded her skills beyond the potter’s wheel to hand building with soft clay slabs painted with hand colored porcelain clay slips.

Linda adorns her narrative ceramic works with bold black lines and vibrant colored clay. See examples of her work at

Linda, a ClaySpace founder, has taught ceramics for many years.  She works with students of all skill levels to create and reach for personal goals. Students in her classes have the option to explore both on and off the potter's wheel, hand building, sculpture, bas-relief, sgrafitto, underglaze, glaze techniques, spraying glaze and China Paint. Her class has available firing options appropriate to the student’s work including low and high firing, electric and gas/soda kilns.
