Artists Bio

Thanks to the groundwork laid by several encouraging and talented art teachers, I have always loved a good art project. Over the years, I took a pottery class or two and assisted with several school art programs. I was busy with a career and a houseful of kids until 2020 when I took a park district pottery class and was hooked. My pals Judy and Nicole introduced me to ClaySpace in 2021. Retired in 2023, I am free to fully explore ideas in clay. I’m so grateful for ClaySpace and the collaborative learning environment. The students and other resident artists at ClaySpace inspire me daily.
